I am going start off by saying I served 10 years in the Army as a Infantryman and Mechanic and continue to serve my Country as a Federal employee. I often wonder what motivates todays young men and women to serve their Country other service members have told me it was simply the right thing to do and others have said it was a way out of bad situation at home or decent way to make a living. For me personally I always wanted to serve and be the first in our family. Also it was being proud of my Country. The things that I've learned during my service was that every Non Commissioned Officer hopes that in bad situation his men trust in his ability as a Leader. I have one quote that I think fit this “No man is a leader until his appointment is ratified in the minds and hearts of his men” Anonymous 1948. Thank you to all my past Leadership for mentoring me and showing me the proper way to lead. I am also grateful to have a family that understand that what I've been though it isn't easy. Thank you to all my family and friends for Supporting the Troops and myself.
