As Collin’s family, we remember him as a son, brother, and friend. Collin always wanted to join the Army but the infantry was not his calling.
Collin was honest, strong, independent, and loyal. He was a silly boy from Southern Arizona and Coastal Texas who was always full of love and compassion. Collin loved to go on adventures and make friends. He was kind, mischievous, outgoing, and caring with an unparalleled love for animals.
Collin was mortally wounded just days after returning to Iraq from visiting with us in Arizona and Texas over Christmas and New Years.
We miss you everyday, from your shit-eating grin to your bear hugs.
What we miss most is seeing who you would have become, and the man you would have grown to be.
We love you.
